Prepare Google credentials

The current AeroMailer Gmail connection uses an App Password, not a Google sign-in flow. Enable 2-Step Verification, then create an App Password if the account is eligible. Organization policy or Advanced Protection can prevent this option. Follow Google's App Password instructions; do not use your normal Google password.

Enter SMTP settings

  • Host: smtp.gmail.com.
  • Port: 587 with STARTTLS, or 465 with SSL/TLS.
  • Username: your full Gmail address.
  • Password: the generated App Password.
  • From email: your authorized Gmail sender address.

Finish AeroMailer's verification-code flow. The question-mark beside the Gmail password field opens setup help. If you change your Google password, you may need a new App Password.
